Gupshup + Tripdocks integration
Use your Gupshup WhatsApp number with a CRM built for selling trips.
Businesses that use Gupshup as their WhatsApp Business Solution Provider can connect that number to Tripdocks with a Gupshup API key and app name. Traveller messages open conversation threads in Tripdocks, and new numbers become leads automatically.
How it works
- In Tripdocks, open Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp Business and add your number.
- Enter the credentials your provider gives you and save. Tripdocks shows a webhook URL unique to that number.
- Register that webhook URL with your provider so inbound messages and status updates reach Tripdocks.
- Optionally route the number to a team, then set it to Active.
What you need
- A Gupshup account with a registered WhatsApp business number.
- Your Gupshup API key (Account Settings) and app name.
- The business number in E.164 format.
- Access to your Gupshup app's Settings → Webhook.
What your team gets
- Every inbound message opens a conversation thread in Tripdocks; if the phone number is new, a lead is created automatically.
- Conversations appear in the Chat section in real time, and the team replies from inside the CRM.
- Multiple business numbers on one account — for example one per office or team — each with its own provider if you like.
- The chat stays attached to the traveller, so the conversation, the quote, and the booking stay connected.
Step-by-step instructions are in the WhatsApp Business setup guide. Leads from every connected channel land in the same queue — see lead management.

Frequently asked questions
- Does Tripdocks replace Gupshup?
- No. Gupshup remains your WhatsApp provider. Tripdocks connects to it so conversations, leads, quotes, and bookings are handled in one travel CRM.
- Can different teams use different numbers?
- Yes. Each connected number can be routed to a specific team, so new conversations on that number are visible to that team by default.
