AiSensy + Tripdocks integration

Keep AiSensy as your WhatsApp provider, and run the sales conversation inside a travel CRM.

By the Tripdocks team · Last updated

If your business uses AiSensy as its WhatsApp Business Solution Provider, you can connect that same number to Tripdocks with your AiSensy API key. Inbound chats open conversation threads in Tripdocks and new numbers become leads automatically, so enquiries stop living in a shared phone.

How it works

  1. In Tripdocks, open Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp Business and add your number.
  2. Enter the credentials your provider gives you and save. Tripdocks shows a webhook URL unique to that number.
  3. Register that webhook URL with your provider so inbound messages and status updates reach Tripdocks.
  4. Optionally route the number to a team, then set it to Active.

What you need

  • An AiSensy account with a registered WhatsApp business number.
  • Your AiSensy API key, from Developer Settings in the AiSensy dashboard.
  • The business number in E.164 format.
  • Access to AiSensy's Settings → Webhook, to paste the Tripdocks webhook URL.

What your team gets

  • Every inbound message opens a conversation thread in Tripdocks; if the phone number is new, a lead is created automatically.
  • Conversations appear in the Chat section in real time, and the team replies from inside the CRM.
  • Multiple business numbers on one account — for example one per office or team — each with its own provider if you like.
  • The chat stays attached to the traveller, so the conversation, the quote, and the booking stay connected.

Step-by-step instructions are in the WhatsApp Business setup guide. Leads from every connected channel land in the same queue — see lead management.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to leave AiSensy to use Tripdocks?
No. Tripdocks connects to your existing AiSensy number. AiSensy stays your WhatsApp provider; Tripdocks is where your team handles the lead, the quote, and the booking.
Can I connect more than one AiSensy number?
Yes. You can connect as many business numbers as you need, each configured separately, and route each one to a specific team.
